1-A Guitar

Get introduced to the basics of guitar: melody, harmony and rhythm all in our fun, relaxed group environment. Learn pop, rock, blues, indie, and traditional tunes to build up an accessible repertoire of songs and skills. You'll be playing a song by the end of the first class. For the very beginner.

Prerequisites: None! This class is for the very beginner

Materials: Guitar required, pick and tuner recommended

Neva Wilder (She/Her)

FIDDLE/VIOLIN, VOICE, GUITAR

Neva is from Fairbanks, Alaska and moved around a lot during the first years of her musical journey in classical violin before ending up in Colorado. After discovering alternative styles like Texas fiddle, old-time, Celtic, bluegrass, and jazz, music making and songwriting became a clear passion and direction in her life. This expanded into teaching, where she focuses on self-expression and having fun while building skills in ear training, chord progressions, communication, and arrangements across instruments. Outside of music, Neva works in graphic design and illustration, enjoys snowboarding, and loves cooking and trying new foods.
