Performance Boot Camp

Performance Boot Camp is a vocal performing experience. We work with staging, how to feel more comfortable in a performance, how to choose your set lists and how to engage your audience. We learn how to work with a microphone. There is a live performance week 8 in front of an audience.

Prerequisites: The desire to perform!

Help us get in tune by registering early!
To support our teachers and better accommodate the needs of our classes, we ask that students register at least 24 hours in advance of the class, lesson, and/or workshop.

Christy Wessler

VOICE

Christy is originally from Hyde Park, New York, where she began her professional singing career as a folk singer. She studied classical voice for six years and began teaching voice in 2000, which brought her to Swallow Hill. She teaches voice, harmony, and performance. When she is not working, she spends time hiking, traveling, and attending her grandkids' games.

What is your favorite thing about Swallow Hill, or your favorite Swallow Hill memory? My favorite thing about Swallow Hill is the music relationships I have formed. Learning, performing, sharing, teaching with people who love music.
