Ukulele 4ever

This is a class that has played together since pre-pandemic. It's a group of ukulele enthusiasts who've gone through the full Swallow Hill Ukulele Core Program, and already have a knowledge of various barre chords, strum patterns and tablature. Come join us!

To support our teachers and better accommodate the needs of our classes, we ask that students register at least 48 hours in advance of the class, lesson, and/or workshop.

Daniella Katzir

GUITAR, SONGWRITING, UKULELE, PIANO/KEYBOARD

Born in Israel and raised in New Jersey, Daniella is a musician teaching her 25+ years of skills to ukulele enthusiast students at Swallow Hill, as well as Little Swallows. She has a B.A. in music from Naropa University. Playing music led her to Swallow Hill, where she fell in love with the community and decided she wanted to start teaching in 2012. She believes learning should be fun, so she chooses material relatable to her students. When she isn’t at Swallow Hill, she’s playing shows with her band, hiking in the mountains, playing fetch with her dog, or cooking up a feast for friends in the kitchen!

First Concert: It was either The Manhattan Transfer or Buster Poindexter. She was so young she can’t remember! But she remembers these were the two.

What song could you listen to all day long? "O-o-h Child" by The Five Stairsteps

Favorite hangout? Any beautiful beach!

What is your favorite thing about Swallow Hill, or your favorite Swallow Hill memory? I have many great memories to look back on over the years but hosting and performing at Swallow Hill’s Ukulele Festival is up there along with bringing my band into the building!
