Martin Gilmore

Martin is a bluegrass musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and music educator based in Denver, Colorado. He is a founding member of the bluegrass band Long Road Home, an acclaimed solo performer, and band leader for The Martin Gilmore Trio.

He has performed all over the United States, as well as in Europe and Africa. He is also a highly respected music educator, teaching at the University of Denver Enrichment Program, his own private studio, and right here at Swallow Hill Music. In 2017, he joined the faculty at the University of Northern Colorado teaching folk and bluegrass guitar.

Effective February 28th, 2022, masks will no longer be required to be worn by patrons in our facilities.

We will be lifting all vaccine mandates for patrons, volunteers, and staff in-line with the City and County of Denver, effective on Friday, March 4, 2022. We will also lift our staff mask mandate on the 4th of March.

Performing artists may require vaccination, a negative Covid test, and/or masks to be worn by patrons, volunteers, and staff for their performances. Please make sure to check the event listing on our website and your email for any communications regarding these requirements.

We will continue to provide N95 and KN95 masks for those who would like them into the foreseeable future.

Refunds/Credits:

School: Refunds or account credits related to this updated policy will follow our school cancellation guidelines, which states students may receive a full refund or account credit if the class is dropped before the start date. Students may drop a 6-8 week class and receive a partial, pro-rated credit or refund if the class is dropped at least 72 hours before the start of the 3rd class. After this deadline, students cannot drop and the credit/refund option is no longer available. Students may drop a 4-5 week class and receive a partial, pro-rated credit or refund if the class is dropped at least 72 hours before the start of the 2nd class. After this deadline, students cannot drop and the credit/refund option is no longer available.

Requests after those dates/timeframes will not be honored.
